The body of Ruslan Tsebiyev, who worked for the press service of Chechen President Dudayev, and for the commercial Vostok radio, was found on 31 March 1995 in a pit near his home in Grozny. He disappeared on 14 March and it is thought that the killing was an act of vengeance by the Chechen opposition.
